When you think of dedication, you think of Corey Lewis, known to many as “170” on the Coleman Fire Department radio. A proud third-generation firefighter, Corey has served the community for over 31 years, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. He graduated from Coleman High School in 1992 and has spent his adult life protecting and supporting the town he grew up in.
Corey holds certifications as a:
- Firefighter II
- Fire Investigator
- Fire Officer III
- Emergency Medical Technician
His commitment goes far beyond titles: he responds to over 80% of all emergency calls, making him one of the most reliable first responders in the region.
When he’s not serving the community in an emergency, Corey leads as President of Lewis Bros Inc, a family business built on the same values he brings to every call: integrity, dependability and service. In his spare time, Corey enjoys being with his family and operating heavy equipment, sometimes just for fun.
Corey’s life is a reflection of what it means to show up for your neighbors, not just when it’s convenient, but when it counts most.
